Ledesma is partially surrounded by the River Tormes. This fact makes it possible to practice many water activities and sports, among which is canoeing. Since the river, in the stretch near Ledesma, has some areas of calm waters, almost like a lake and other stretches with mild currents, it’s a great place to practice these activities for people of all ages and levels: adults and children, experts and beginners.
